Dr. Rawan Abumohsen

Dr. Rawan Abumohsen is a North Carolina native who earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She later received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Her clinical training included rotations at The Eye Institute and the Charlotte VA Medical Center. Following her doctoral education, Dr. Abumohsen completed a residency in Low Vision Rehabilitation and Ocular Disease at the Paul Vision Institute.

Dr. Abumohsen provides comprehensive eye care services with expertise in low vision care, dry eye treatment, glaucoma management, and more. She is dedicated to helping patients better understand their eye and overall health while providing compassionate, individualized care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

Outside the office, Dr. Abumohsen enjoys cooking, reading, exploring local coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends. She looks forward to welcoming new patients and helping them achieve their best possible vision and eye health.
